Home Remedies for Clear
Skin
Clear skin is something most people really dream of having,
especially when acne is an ongoing problem. While there is no
certain way to prevent acne lesions entirely, there are some
methods you can use to keep your skin as clear as possible.
Some of the most popular methods of doing this are well known
home remedies for clear skin.
These remedies may or may not work for individuals, but they
are not going to damage your skin so it is not a bad idea to
give them a try if you like.
As long as there have been people suffering from acne
problems, there have been various home remedies out there for
helping to promote clear skin. Some remedies may seem a little
strange, but for the most part the home remedies for clear skin
that most people use are not harmful and may even help your
skin’s health overall.
Let’s take a look at some well known home remedies for
clear skin:
Honey and cinnamon powder – Mix honey and cinnamon powder
into a thick paste and apply directly onto your skin. You can
use this paste as an overall mask or as a spot treatment for
specific acne blemishes. Leave the paste on overnight, rinsing
off thoroughly in the morning using cool water.
Orange peel – Use the peel from an orange as a way to reduce
acne pimples and lesions. You can apply the peel directly to
the areas of your skin needing some help, or grate the peel and
use water to make it into a thick paste before applying to your
skin.
Tea bags – Take two to three tea bags, then empty the
contents and mix with dried basil. Let the mixture sit for
about thirty minutes, then apply directly to your face either
as an overall mask or a spot treatment for pimples and acne
lesions. Leave on your skin for fifteen to twenty minutes and
then rinse with cool water.
Mint juice – Grate or grind fresh mint leaves and squeeze
out the mint juice. Apply the juice directly to your face using
a cotton ball or your clean fingers. Do this each night,
leaving the juice on your face overnight.
Aloe vera – Choose cleansers and skin products that contain
aloe vera, as this is a very gentle treatment for your skin
that gets rid of excess oils without leaving behind excess
dryness. You can also apply pure aloe vera gel to the skin as a
cooling moisturizer.
If you decide to use any of these home remedies for clear
skin, remember that they do take some time to start creating
the kind of results you want. Choose a remedy and make sure you
use it consistently over the course of at least two to three
months; at that point you should start seeing some changes that
will continue if you keep using the remedy regularly and
consistently. Using home remedies for clear skin is a terrific
way to work on improving your skin and reducing acne without
using harsh chemicals or ingredients on your face.
